Mixed softball success
PA Wellington The New Zealand women’s softball coach, Ed Dolejs, is not too concerned about his side’s two win-one loss record after two days of the international invitation tournament in Melbourne. So far, his New Zealand A team has beaten Australia. 7-0, and the Kiwi B team, 2-1, while falling to China, 2-0. Delias said New Zealand
would be pushing for top honours in the double elimination round which begins later in the week. “All the teams go through to that round so I'm giving all the players in the squad a run before settling on our top combination." The B team had lost its other game to date, against the Australian youth side, 5-1. after early lead. 3
