NZPA-AFP Moscow Soviet leader, Konstantin Chernenko, died of heart failure after suffering for some time from pulmonary emphysema, a medical bulletin announced today. Mr Chernenko’s emphysema was complicated by pulmonary and cardiac insufficiency, according to the bulletin, carried by the official Tass news agency. His condition was further aggravated by chronic hepatitis which evolved into cirrhosis. An autopsy confirmed the diagnosis, the doctors said.
