NZPA-AP Barnsley The Welsh soccer goalscoring wizard, lan Rush, grabbed a second half hattrick yesterday as Liverpool eased into the semi-finals of the Football Association Cup by winning, 4-0, against Barnsley. Rush — last season’s top scorer in Europe — scored
in the fifty-fourth, seventyninth and eighty-third minutes with the Irishman, Ronnie Whelan, also netting in the seventy-first minute. Barnsley, a second division side, posed few threats to Liverpool, while the league champion also created few openings in a goal-less first half.
