Brierley appeal
The chief executive of Brierley Investments, Mr Bruce Hancox, said that the company intended to take the matter further. “We do not accept that this is it,” he said. Taking the matter further would mean applying to the administrative division of the High Court for a review of the Commerce Commission’s decision. The review must be applied for within 28 days, a step which the commission’s executive officer, Mr Justin Kerr, said would be unusual. “It has not been taken before, to my knowledge,” be said.
