Man hit by truck
An Oxford man was reported seriously ill in the intensive-care unit of Christchurch Hospital last evening after he was hit by a truck at the junction of Briggs Road and Akaroa Street, Shirley, about 11.20 a.m. yesterday. The man, Mark Wensley, aged 42, suffered head injuries.
