Eric Saggers, the first man across the main divide in the Coast-to-Coast race last week-end, makes his way down the bed of the Mingha River. Saggers, and John Howard, both from Christchurch, won the teams event. They finished 19 minutes 22 seconds ahead of the second team. The individual winner was Brian Sanders, of Wellington.
