TVNZ sponsorship
The Director General of Television New Zealand, Mr Allan Martin, has announced a sponsorship arrangement with the Auckland Racing Club. Saturday, April 13, the third day of the Auckland Racing CLub’s Easter meet- ; ing, will be known as “Television New Zealand day.” The main race, the Television New Zealand Stakes, valued at $llO,OOO, will be the richest weight-for-age race in New Zealand. It is intended that “Television New Zealand day” will become a regular feature of the Easter racing carnival in Auckland.
