Pancho Smurfette, a three-month-old chihuahua bitch belonging to Mrs Nita Trotter, of Christchurch, is held by Angela Falconer, aged 14, at the Canterbury Toy Dog Society open show at the Canterbury Kennel Centre at McLeans Island yesterday. Pancho Smurfette was entered in the chihuahua smooth coat puppy section. The show, which was judged by Mrs Robyn Robertson, of Wellington, attracted 404 toy dog entries. McLeans Island will also be the venue for the society is championship show in May.
