Sadler’s Wells Ballet,
Thirty years after it last performed in the South Island, the Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet is bringing three full length ballets to New Zealand. In Christchurch the company will dance “Giselle” and “La Fille Mai Gardee.” “Sleeping Beauty” is the other full length ballet in the company’s New Zealand repertoire and a short piece, “Five Tangos,” will be included on the programme with “Giselle.”
The ballets are among the best-known of the company’s repertoire and feature choreography peculiar to the Sadler’s Wells productions of the ballets.

In 1980 she was promoted to principal. In November, 1980, she was chosen as one of the first casts to dance the leading role of Odette/ Odille in the company’s new production of “Swan Lake,” in which she danced the Hungarian Princess at the first performance.
