Dead man named
Greymouth reporter The man who died when his rifle accidentally discharged while he was climbing over a fence at Pukekura, South Westland, has been identified. He was Herbert Patrick William Hende, aged 52 years, a farmer of Pukekura, and a former licensee of the Lake lanthe Tavern.
