TOP:Lyndsay Williamson accelerates through a righthand bend while practising on a 1000 cu cm B.M.W. KlOO at Ruapuna Park for the annual Castrol six-hours motor-cycle race at Manfeild on Sunday. Williamson and his co-rider, John Britten, will have the distinction of racing the only nonJapanese machine in the field. BOTTOM: Williamson, left, and Britten make some final adjustments to the machine. They are supported by two very wellknown motor-cycling personalities. Mike Sinclair, just returned from Europe where he is one of the leading grand prix motorcycle race mechanics, will be the chief mechanic. The team manager is Dale Wylie, one of New Zealand’s best international roadracers in the 19705.
