Apprentices’ first rides
Wayne Parsons and Kelsey Schwass, two 15-year-old apprentices attached to the Harris stable at Tuahiwi; will make their riding debuts at Hokitika on Saturday. Parsons has been engaged to ride Labalose, Hotu Hui Lad and Glenavy Mist; and Schwass will partner Te Kay Jay and Star Piece.
