Tracks to be laid
PA Wellington The Minister of Railways, Mr Prebble, will open the Glenbrook Vintage Railway’s track-laying project. The new 3km line will extend the railway’s existing line from Pukeoware to Waiuku, in Franklin County. While at Glenbrook, Mr Prebble will try his hand at driving a steam locomotive, travel in the restored carriages on the train, and inspect the Glenbrook Vintage Railways’ workshops at Pukeoware.
