Other points
The Maryville Courts village, naturally, has a close association with Saint Mary’s parish, but of the 10 residents installed so far, six are Roman Catholics and four are not.
Anyone who would enjoy being part of the community is welcome. Other points that might arise include:
© Is there an age limit? It is preferred that people coming in be 65 years of age or more, but each application is judged on its merits.
© How fit and able must the residents be? In the case of married couples, it would be advisable for one partner to be able to cope with day-to-day matters. ® What other, facilities are available? While transport, food and furniture are the, care of the residents, the use of medical alert systems and participation in the full use of the community centre facilities is encouraged.
