Arts Festival director
PA Wellington The general manager of the Auckland Regional Orchestra, Mr Michael Maxwell, has been appointed director of the New Zealand Festival of the Arts to be staged in Wellington in March, 1986.
Wellington city’s public relations officer, Mr Gene Saunders, said New Zea-land-born Mr Maxwell had had 25 years experience in orchestral management. He was chosen from a “large number” of people interviewed.
