The unaudited tax-paid trading profit of Capital City Radio, Ltd (Radio Windy), for the year ended September 30 was $48,895 (1983; loss, $104,000). Tax provided is $40,005 (1983, nil). In addition there was extraordinary expenditure of $lO,OOO (1983, $31,300). No dividend is declared (last year nil). Forward orders are highly satisfactory, but the directors express caution because of the likelihood of difficult trading conditions in 1985.
