PA Auckland The New Zealand team of chefs which competed at the Culinary Olympics in Frankfurt last month re* turned home yesterday with gold medals. The team flew into Auckland after finishing fourth out of 28 national teams competing in the cooking competition. The chefs each received a gold medal for the standard of their dishes. } “A gold medal is earned if the work is above a certain acknowledged standard,” said the team manager, Mr Helmut Reichart.
