PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER United is the largest building society in New Zealand and a significant force in the finance industry. Through continued growth and diversification a need has been established for a senior appointment to assist the executive in maintaining a high corporate profile. This appointment, as Public Relations Manager, will be located in Christchurch and will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for developing, managing, monitoring and evaluating a comprehensive public relations programme and budget for the Society. Particular responsibilities will include maintenance of media contacts, writing and disseminating media releases, preparing background papers, arranging launch events and media conferences, internal communications and perusing all relevant I publications and developing a sound research base on information.
