Perm, notice
The directors of the Permanent Investment Building Society of Canterbury have issued a "don’t sell” notice to shareholders of the society’s “A” shares. The society’s manager, Mr C. O. Spiller, refused yesterday to explain the reason for the notice but said the-directors might make a further announcement tomorrow.
Mr Spiller said there were 223 holders of the 62,500 $1 “A” shares.
