New Hornby councillor
A new member has been elected to the Hornby District Community Council. He is Mr Ishwa Ganda, who replaces Mr Arthur Mai-, colm. Mr Malcolm resigned from the council in July, alleging that he had been frustrated in attempting to get things done for his electors. Mr Ganda was selected
from five candidates at the council’s monthly meeting last evening. The council comprises seven councillors, four of whom voted for Mr Ganda. Mr Ganda was a member of the council for six years before the local body elections last October, when he was an unsuccessful candi-. date. He is 39, and owns a record business and disco agency in Hornby.
