A new member has been elected to the Hornby District Community Council. He is Mr Ishwa Ganda, who replaces Mr Arthur Mai-, colm. Mr Malcolm resigned from the council in July, alleging that he had been frustrated in attempting to get things done for his electors. Mr Ganda was selected

Mr Ganda was a member of the council for six years before the local body elections last October, when he was an unsuccessful candi-. date. He is 39, and owns a record business and disco agency in Hornby.
