Awards fixture meeting
By

in Welllington The awards fixture list for the December wagebargaining round is expected to be settled at a meeting in Wellington today. A committee comprising employer, union, and Labour Department representatives has been charged v/ith resolving the adminis-
trative arrangements for the compressed three-month schedule. It met for the first time at the Beehive last week and is believed to have almost completed a provisional negotiating order for circulation among advocates. “The Press” was told yesterday that a statement might be issued after to-
day’s meeting but that no firm decision on this had yet been made. Awards are expected to come up in the order in which they were last negotiated with two or three days allotted for the first few and less time for the rest. Negotiations not completed in the allotted time will go to the bottom of the fixture list.
