NZPA special correspondent Harare South Zimbabwe drew its third three-day match against Young New Zealand at the Harare Sports Club yesterday, after sticking at ,the crease in a day of dull but determined cricket. When bad light stopped play 45 minutes early, Zimbabwe was 271 for five wickets, still 26 behind. In its bid for outright victory, the New Zealanders fielded all. day under the hot

sun with temperatures reaching 30 deg. C. But with the batsmen intent on occupying the crease for as long as possible, the visitors had little success.

Robin Brown, although suffering cramp and dizzy spells, led the Zimbabwean resistance. He batted five hours and seven minutes to score 124 not out, his second highest score.

Yesterday’s result, the second drawn game in the four-match three day series, left Young New Zealand holding a 1-0 lead going into the final game which starts at the week-end. The visitors won the game played
