The Energy Advisory Committee (EAC) Is your means of voicing these opinions and participating in the Government’s energy planning process. The EAC is now receiving submissions on the 1984 Energy Plan and energy planning in general. We are especially interested in receiving submissions on: (1) planning and policy in the energy conservation sector; (2) forecasting of demand and plans, policies and present operations for supply, including environmental implications of such plans and policies, in the electricity sector; (3) the nature of energy planning and the role of the Energy Plan. Submissions received .will be used as input for the EAC publication, Review of Energy Planning in 1984, which, in turn, will be referred to in the production of the 1985 Energy Plan. The three topics above will be addressed in more detail.
