Stabling found in Chch
A warehouse off Antigua Street will be converted to stables during the next few weeks, and Christchurch’s horses and carriage service will be on the road again. A week ago Mr John Lyon thought he might not be able to continue his unique tourist service, as he had nowhere to stable his horses. He has since found accommodation, and hopes to begin the tours again within three weeks. Two horses will be kept in the new stables and one out of town in a paddock, giving each horse a week’s rest in three.
