Colombo bombs; Five bombs exploded in Colombo yesterday, killing one person and injuring at least five others, police said. Three bombs, were discovered in the Sri Lankan capital and were later defused.— Colombo. Drug haul The Queensland police say they have found what is believed to be Australia’s biggest marijuana plantation, at Cape York Peninsula. The value of the crop is estimated to be $l7 million. One man was arrested and two others are sought.—Brisbane. Shooting charge A man appeared in a Sydney court yesterday charged with the murder of 15-year-old Leanne Walters on September 2, the day of the Viking Tavern massacre in which seven people died. Anthony Morgan Cain, aged 24, was remanded to today.— Sydney. Victim loses leg A woman injured when Irish guerrillas tried to blow up the British Cabinet on October 12 has had her right leg amputated below the knee. Muriel McLean, wife of an official of the Conservative Party, was still doing poorly, doctors said.—Brighton.
