Convention in Chch
More than 400 Jehovah’s Witnesses attended a convention in Christchurch at the week-end. Members of the Kaiapoi, Harewood, Riccarton, Hokitika and Greymouth congregations attended the convention, at the Heaton Street Intermediate School. The convention theme
was “Repudiate ungodliness and worldly desires,” said a spokesman, Mr Colin Radford. A public address, entitled “War at Armageddon — is it near — what will it mean?” was given by the district overseer for Jehovah’s Witnesses in New Zealand, Mr Hans Hubler.
