C. Edmond suspended
PAlnvercargill Craig Edmond and Maurice Crawford were suspended from riding at the Gore Racing Club’s meeting on Saturday. Edmond, however, applied for his suspension to be held over, as he had several engagements for the second day. The judicial committee allowed his application, taking into account that there might be a shortage of riders for the second day of the meeting today. Edmond’s suspension will take effect from the end of racing today up to and including next Saturday. The Riccarton trainer, Michael Pitman, was fined $5O for the late notification of a drug administration.
