Triad ends in air
PA Auckland The aerial phase of the A.N.Z.U.S. defence exercise, Triad, ended yesterday. The eight United States Fl 5 Eagle fighter aircraft will stay at Whenuapai R.N.Z.A.F. base until Friday, when they will return to their base in Japan.
Land-based exercises will continue at Waiouru until Sunday.
