NZPA Harare The first three-day international cricket match of the touring Young New Zealand team’s visit to Zimbabwe ended in a draw at Harare yesterday. The game was called off early after a sturdy salvage operation by the Zimbabwean batsman who took
the second innings score to 304 for six. The team had followed on after being dismissed for 142 in its first innings. Scores:— Young New Zealand 331 drew with Zimbabwe 142 and 304/6 dec. (K. Walton 37, A. Pycroft 88, D. Houghton 84, D. Fletcher 32 n. 0.; S. Tracy 2/33, V. Brown 3/42.
