Mr Walter Worthington prepared for a long wait last evening outside Jack’s Yamaha, in Colombo Street, where a motor-cycle will be sold tomorrow morning for 75c.
Mr Worthington, aged 20, a second-year student in computer science at Victoria University of Wellington, will be joined by a friend, Mr Chris Kidd, also of Wellington, for the long
vigil. The motor-cycle, a Yamaha 100, is being sold for 75c to celebrate the first birthday of the business trading under the name of Jack's Yamaha.
