Great Value for W.A.
Great Value, the highlypromising three-year-old pacing filly, has been sold to West Australian interests.
The daughter of Noodlum and the former good racemare, Racebook, has been purchased by Mr John Sclater, of Perth, the sale being negotiated by Dalgety Crown (Ashburton) in association with the Stormont Bloodstock Agency, Tauranga. The winner of her only two starts this season, at Kurow and Methven, she was raced by Mr Les Skilling, his daughter, Joan Cavill, and Tom Cavill, the latter training the filly at Ashburton.
