$25,000 jackpot
Patrons at Motukarara on Saturday will be able to try their luck in a free $25,000 jackpot.
Whereas it has been necessary to try for seven
winners in most other jackpots run this season, only five will be required at the Banks Peninsula meeting. The jackpot will be run on races two to six inclusive. Entries will close at 11.40 a.m., five minutes before the totalisator closes for the running of the second race.
Each patron will be entitled to make one entry, which provides for 10 possible combinations.
