Mining president
Mr David Tennent has been elected the president of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy for 1985. Mr Tennent, a consulting mining engineer, is a graduate of Otago School of Mines and a principal of the firm D. C. Tennent and Associates, Brisbane.
