Advertisement Local squash area increasing A large increase in Canterbury squash is predicted this coming season. According to research on last season’s squash turnout from Canterbury, in Japan, a lot of Japanese importers are this season requesting Canterbury-produced squash because of its better ability to travel and the fruit being dryer and sweeter in flavour.
