Zonta Clothing Awards
Almost 200 budding seamstresses modelled their creations at the 1984 Zonta Clothing Awards in Christchurch last evening. The contest, which was staged by North Canterbury Zontas at Burnside High School, attracted entries from 15 Canterbury secondary schools. Each had to make and model his or her outfit, and many designed their own. More than 300 people watched the fashion parade and entertainment, provided by pupils of Burnside High School.
