Injured man transferred
PA Dunedin John Kaye, aged 19, the Dunedin student paralysed during a rugby match on August 18, has been transferred from Christchurch to Dunedin Hospital’s intensive care unit. The hospital’s medical superintendent-in-chief, Dr K. E. Berendsen, said Mr Kaye was still seriously ill. He suffered the injury in a match at Waikouaiti.
