Noah’s Ark
Sir, — While I hope Noah’s Ark can be discovered, particularly to show how the pachyderms were quartered for 40 days and nights, I do not find it gratifying that the American astronaut, James Irwin, is involved. He was one of the Apollo 15 team, disgraced and sacked for a commercial arrangement with' a German businessman to have priceless philatelic covers postmarked on the moon. This defied a stern warning after a Federal inquiry condemned the carrying of silver medals for commercial gain on the Apollo 14 moon orbiter. I believe Mr Irwin was ordained as a minister after his dismissal. This might explain how the Reuter . message could say the finds look “exactly like the boat” of the Bible, while television showed just two undefined pieces of material. The expedition leader said the Ark had not
been found, but they know exactly where it is. Any bets? — Yours, etc.,
