Saudi coal find
NZPA-AAP London Saudi Arabia, home of the world’s biggest oil field, has reportedly found “significant” deposits of coal. “The Times” newspaper reports that the Saudi coal, found in the Qasim region,
is high quality and could be open cut mined. Drilling crews in Saudi Arabia have also found large deposits of zinc, copper, iron ore, and nickel. Gold and silver deposits have also been found.
