Economy drive
An Audi 100 Turbo Diesel completed an 1850-kilo-metre journey in Great Britain on one tankful of fuel, returning an average consumption of about 4.7 litres per 100 kilometres. The car, driven by a motoring journalist, Stuart Bladon, who was accompanied by a Royal Automobile Club observer, averaged 82km/h.
