Socialists not welcomed
PA Wellington The Leader of the Opposition, Sir Robert Muldoon, criticised last evening the Economic Summit invitation list, saying he believed four members of the Socialist Unity Party were included. “In this chamber of the New Zealand Parliament, by my count, there will be sitting four members of the Socialist Unity Party,” he said during the Address-In-Reply debate. “As member of this Parliament for many years I object to those bottoms being on my seat “They wu| never get in here in a democratic way. They get in here the backdoor way because they are members of the Joint Council of Labour which is the body ruling this country now ...”
