Susan Devoy, of Rotorua, the world’s top-ranked woman squash player, and Vicki Cardwell, the Australian who is the world champion, will meet in a threetest Australia-New Zealand series next month. Cardwell, who won the world championship in
Perth last year, will lead 1 the Australian team. Her 1 team-mates will be Jan Millar, ranked ninth in the i world, and Mary Jo Reid, ; ranked fifth in Australia. < 1 The teams will play in i Dunedin on September 15, 1 Wellington on September 19 < and Hamilton on September ■
23 in a series sponsored by Honda. Devoy, the British women’s open champion, and Robyn Blackwood, have confirmed their availability for the New Zealand team, and the third position will be filled by either Donna Gurran (Auckland) or Joanne Williams (Taihape).
