ARMSTRONG, John Robert — On August 13,1984, at Christchurch, much loved husband of Grace Rosamund Armstrong; aged 92 years. With Christ which Is far better. (Suddenly.) Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, August 22, at 1030 a.m. Messages to 501 Mangorel Road, R.D. 1, New Plymouth. DANN, Gordon Joseph C. — On August 14, 1984 (suddenly), at his home, Omaha Beach Resort, dearly loved husband of Sylvia, much loved stepfather and father-in-law of Esme and Arthur, Lesley and George, and loved poppa of Karl, Tania Angela and Sarah, Joanne, Shlree, Lisa and Kaye; aged 65 years. DUFFELL, Ivan Wilbur — On August 13, at The Princess Margaret Hospital, dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Allan and Chris, Jean and BUI Ewing, EUeen and Henry Tyrrell, Mavis and George Simon, and Audrey and Max Hills. Sadly missed. ELGIN, Thomas Edward (Eddie), (late of Waluta and Westport) — On August 14, 1984, at The Princess Margaret Hospital, dearly loved husband of PhyUls, loved father and father-in-law of Errol (Greymouth), Marie and Peter Van Twulver (Rotorua), Tom and Ann (Rangiora), Benny and Ken Ellis, Max and Helen, Lex and PhUllppa and the late Lynette, loved granddad of Lisa, Michael Jonathan, Charlotte, Joanna, Matthew, Jeremy, Nicholas and Andrew, and loved brother of Hilda Geering (Walroa). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Asthma Society would be appreciated, and may be made at the service. Messages to 5 Chipping Lane, Christchurch 5. The Funeral service will be held In St Silas’ Anglican Church, comer Main North and Tuckers Roads, on Friday, August 17, at 11.15 ajn., thereafter to the Harewood Crematorium ChapeL Academy Funeral Services.
