These buildings presently accommodate the Bank of New Zealand Head Office, and Wellington Branch, and will become vacant in the near future. The site has a total area of 2085 square metres, and the existing buildings a gross area of approximately 6700 square metres. Council’s preference for the site is for a development which would preserve the facades of the existing buildings, but council will seriously consider alternative development proposals which retain any combination of the existing buildings.
