Heart girl fears
The world’s youngest heart-transplant patient has been doing well, but doctors remain concerned that her body might reject the new organ, a hospital spokesman says. The unidentified 2-year-old Detroit girl was walking better than ever and is showing a lot of energy, said John Woodford, a spokesman at Mott Children’s Hospital There is still some sign of rejection and the amount of anti-rejection medication has been increased. — Ann Arbor, Michigan.
