NZPA-AP Cleveland Some days Richard Ford makes SUS2O selling jokes on a busy street Where does he get the sometimes corny, sometimes off-colour jokes he peddles for 50c? “People come up and tell them to me free,” he said. He is no stranger to footpath sales — he sold insults on the streets of New York City in 1980. Sex and politics are the main ingredients for his jokes. One that he was selling last week went like this: You know what (the Democratic Vice-Preisdential candidate, Geraldine), Ferraro said when she was asked about Red China? “She said, after a lot of contemplation, that she is going to go with blue tablecloth.”
