Award to ex-Chch man
A former Christchurch Press journalist, Mr Steve Kay, has won the prestigious Guild of Agricultural Journalists “Food for Britain” award in the U.K. Now news editor on the “Farmers Weekly,” Mr Kay plans to use his £l,OOO travel scholarship to investigate international markets for U.K. dairy produce. Potential markets in the' Middle East will come in for close attention as well as opportunities in Central America, the Caribbean, Western Europe and Italy. Particular emphasis will be placed on marketing valueadded products like yoghurt, speciality cheeses and U.H.T. milks.
