Top skaters roll in
The Australian senior roller skating dance champions, Maria Giuffre, aged 13, and Gary Irving, aged 20, show their skills at Skate Station Roller Skating Club in Riccarton last evening. Linda A’Court, aged 16, the Australian senior women’s freeskating champion, and Simon Reeves, aged 17, the Australian senior men’s free-skating champion, also performed at the club. The quartet arrived in Christchurch last evening after competing at an international skating week-end in Dunedin last week-end.
