Injured girl cyclist dies
A schoolgirl cyclist injured in a motor-vehicle accident in Mairehau Road yesterday morning later died in Christchurch Hospital. She was Tania Pateman, aged 14, of Mairehau Road.
Her bicycle was in collision with a car at 8.15 a.m. She was taken to hospital with serious head injuries. She died yesterday afternoon.
