La-z-boy chair as prize
A DIC customer will walk away from the store on Saturday with an addition for their lounge — and it will not have cost him or her a cent. A lucky catalogue number will bring the shopper a pleaseant surprise. As part ,of the DIC celebrations to launch the up-dated furniture showroom, a La-z-boy chair will be given away. Customers who take a
“test drive” in the popular chair will be given a numbered catalogue. On Saturday the number will be drawn and the winner will take home the luxurious chair, valued at $4OO from the leading furniture manufacturers, Morgan Bros, Ltd. Also at the store will be a representative from Woolrest, and DIC will offer a free gift with every Wool-
rest mattress overlay sold. The DIC is offering a year’s interest-free credit to buyers of anything on the furniture floor. It is, says the store’s central buyer, Mr Mike Ellis, “furniture at today’s prices with tomorrow’s money.” Free cushions are supplied with every lounge suite. DIC will be open until 4 p.m. this Saturday.
