Mr Shultz to visit N.Z.
NZPA-Reuter Washington The United States Secretary of State, Mr George Shultz, would visit Wellington next month, said the State Department yesterday. Mr Shultz will attend a meeting of South-East Asian Ministers in Jakarta, and Australian and New Zealand Ministers in Wellington. The Association of SouthEast Asian Nations Foreign Ministers will meet in Jakarta on July 12 and 13. The Australia-New ZealandUnited States Council will
meet in Wellington on July 16 and 17. Mr Shultz would meet Malaysian officials in Kuala Lumpur on July 9, Singapore officials on July 10, and Australian officials in Canberra on July 14, said the State Department. He would meet Indonesian and New Zealand officials while attending the A.S.E.A.N. and A.N.Z.U.S. meetings.
